GOMEL, 15 May (BelTA) – The delegation of the riot police department of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam will come to Gomel Oblast on 16 May. The visit will last till the end of the week, BelTA learnt from the regional branch of the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus.

The Vietnamese specialists will take part in the international conference “Emergencies: theory, practice, innovations” that will be held at the Gomel Engineering Institute of the Emergencies Ministry on 16 May. 

MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) - The increases in the prices for heating and electricity are only possible with the income growth of households. The income growth should outpace price increases, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said during a meeting on the operation and development of the Belarusian energy industry, BelTA has learnt.

The President stressed that his position on the increase in the tariffs for households remains unchanged: "The income growth should outpace price increases. 

Representatives of the German HIV service organizations will visit Belarus on 23-28 April, BelTA learnt from the BelSet antiAids Association.

The visit to Belarus of ten heads and officials of the German HIV service organization will be held as part of the joint project. The purpose of the visit is to show the German colleagues the potential of the members and partners of the BelSet antiAids Association in the activities on HIV/AIDS, and to establish cooperation between Belarusian and German non-governmental organizations. 

GOMEL, 10 April (BelTA) – The international ice hockey tournament to commemorate former Director General of Gomeltransneft Druzhba Company Alexei Kostyuchenko will take place in Gomel on 16-19 April, BelTA learnt from the Gomel City Hall.

Partaking in the competitions will be junior teams from Moscow, Voronezh, Bryansk, Kharkov, Zhlobin and Gomel (14-year-olds). 

These competitions, in their seventh year this time, are one of the most interesting and representative junior ice hockey tournaments in Belarus.
